What is included in the price?

When in private practice psychologists must pay for many things like office rent, work phone, website, assessment kits and therapy resources, insurance, regular supervision, cost for being part of their professional registrations, advertising and regular courses to keep up with new treatments.

The work doesn’t stop at the end of the session as the psychologists will have to write up their notes of what was discussed, find new resources and prepare the next session. This limits the hours when they can see patients.

All this means that the client will get the safest and most effective sessions.

Can I change my mind about therapy if I am not sure?

You can change your mind at any time. It would be good if you could let me know. We will make an agreement at the beginning so you know what comes next. We will review this to make sure this is still right for you regularly.

Emergency contacts

In cases where you are in immediate danger or at immediate risk of harm please phone your GP, the NHS crisis team in your area, go to A & E at your local general hospital or phone 999 for emergency services.

I do not provide a crisis service. Although, I can increase appointment frequency if required.
