Services and Fees

Psychologists offer assessment, consultancy and therapy. Please see fees for this below.

Psychologists do not prescribe medication. If you require medication you will need to see your GP or psychiatrist.

FUNDING VIA HEALTH INSURANCE

You can access therapy, coaching and assessment via your health insurance if you have bought a plan. I accept Bupa Health insurance plans. I am one of their recognized providers. https://finder.bupa.co.uk/go/dr_silke_newman.

I will send all my invoices directly to your health insurance company. You need to confirm that they authorize your treatment and send me your membership number and authorization code.

Paying privately

You can pay for sessions privately via a bank transfer..

Comprehensive Autism Assessment

£1,200 Compliant with NHS and National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines

1. Before the appointment:

  • Free consultation and Autism and Mental health screening online (1/2 hour)

  • Comprehensive Questionnaire asking you and your relatives about you growing up and your development (3 hours). Answering questions about your mental health and attachments.

    2. Assessment Appointment

  • Answering questions and talking about your life with the assessor (3-5 hours)

    3. Feedback Appointment

  • Review geedback and receive your report and GP/work/education letter (1 hour)

ADHD

Comprehensive ADHD assessment

£960 Compliant with NHS and National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidelines

1. Before the assessment:

  • Free consultation and Mental health screening online (1/2 hour)

  • Comprehensive Questionnaire asking you and your relative about you growing up and your development (2-3 hours). Answering questions about your mental health and attachments.

    2. Assessment Appointment

  • Answering questions and talking about your life with the assessor (2-3 hours)

    3. Feedback Appointment

  • Review and receive your report and GP/work letter (1 hour)

Learning disability Assessment

£960 Compliant with British Psychological Society guidelines

1. Before the appointment:

  • Free consultation online

  • Completing Questionnaire about your schooling, growing up and your development by relative/carer or you (2 hours)

    2. Assessment Appointment

  • Complete some tasks and answer some questions as part of a test (2 hours)

    3. Assessment appointment with you and a relative / carer

    (1.5 hours)

  • Questions about growing up and your current skills and abilities.

    4. Feedback Appointment

  • Discuss the outcome of the assessment and receive your report (1 hour)

Therapy

£120 per session lasting 50 minutes with 10 minutes summarizing, planning and safety arrangements as needed.

1. Before the appointment:

  • Meet for a free consultation to see if it is a good fit (30 minutes).

    2. First Appointments

  • Meet to discuss your difficulties and goals and develop a diagram of the situation. Start building a therapeutic relationship. (2 to 5 hours)

    3. Following appointments

  • Work on further understanding and testing new solutions. (4 to 25+)

  • 4. Agree and work towards an ending as part of above

Therapy and assessments focus on a neuro- affirmative approach .
